Location Farningham Village is a conservation area. It has a mainline railway station (Farningham Road) with regular services to London. Farningham can trace its history back to Neolithic times – flint and other tools have been discovered and these can be found in the Dartford Museum. Farningham is a charming, picturesque village in the Kent countryside. There is a choice of clubs and societies centred around the village hall, two good pubs with al fresco dining by the river Darent, and there is a wide choice of country walks. For the commuter there is easy access to three railway stations, and it is only twelve miles from Sevenoaks. Mike and Ruth will miss the house and the village, but the time has come to downsize. They take away many very happy memories and are certain the next owners will love the house as they have.
