It’s hard to believe that when Clifton & Co first opened its doors, Windows 95 was still new and mobile phones were still too big to fit in anything other than a very large pocket. No one had even heard of an iPhone, iPad, Xbox, Facebook, Twitter or Youtube and Google had just offered a new way of searching the web. Technology changes so fast and seems to be moving forward quicker all the time. It’s hard to know which website, application or network will be successful or stay the distance and it can be difficult to keep abreast of all the developments and new ideas we see every day.
In the years that Clifton & Co have been around we have always been at the forefront of technology and used it to our customers’ benefit. One of the advantages of being an independent company is that we can be quick to change existing services or adopt new ones. We don’t need to have so many board meetings that the ideas are old before we’ve even begun. Our pledge has always been ‘Modern Techniques – Traditional Values’ and nowhere is this more apparent than in our attitude to online marketing.
